Plumbing & Heating FAQs

Got questions? Here’s a few of BP Plumbing & Heating’s Most Frequently Asked Questions…

Is there a call out charge for coming to look at the job?

No, we do not charge anything for simply coming to look at a job. We will only ever charge once you instruct us to undertake the job and we will always quote you first. If you’re not happy with the quote or would prefer a second opinion, you are under no obligation whatsoever to go with BP Plumbing & Heating.

We also understand that making a decision can take some time, so we’re always keen to give our clients all the time they need.

Are you insured?

Yes. If in the unlikely event anything was to go wrong, our public liability insurance covers us and you for up to £10 million.

Are you Gas Safe registered?

Yes, as professional heating engineers we are Gas Safe accredited and on the Gas Safe register.

What areas do you cover?

Based in between Preston and Blackpool, BP Plumbing & Heating covers a wide area of the North West.

For small domestic jobs we regularly operate in Preston, Kirkham, Chorley, Leyland, Lytham, St Annes, Poulton, Blackpool and neighbouring areas.

For new build site work and complete central heating installations we cover further afield including Manchester, Liverpool, Bolton, Blackburn, Lancaster, Burnley, Accrington, Clitheroe and all the surrounding towns and villages.

Is your work guaranteed?

We fully guarantee all of our work, plus by using quality materials from leading plumbing and heating brands, many of the products we use carry additional manufacturer’s guarantees.

Can I supply my own plumbing and heating materials?

Yes, if you prefer to do so and have experience in the building trade, then we can work with materials you supply providing all safety standards are met. In most instances though we can buy in materials at lower trade prices, which will inevitably save you money, plus will give us all peace of mind the right standard of components have been used.
